I am from Nepal and today, I am 36 Years old. I spent my childhood in Ashram-Lifestyle, I grew up right next to the Ananda Yoga Centre. When I was 22 years old, I went to Bihar
School of Yoga to do my Yoga Teacher’s Training Course. I
learned so much about body, mind and spirit there, especially from
our Guruji and co-founder of the Ananda Yoga Centre Swami Niranjananda Saraswati. The most important thing I learned is to serve humanity.
After my training in Bihar School of Yoga which was founded from Swami Satyananda Saraswati, a disciple of Swami Sivananda Saraswati, I started to teach at the Ananda Yoga Centre. During 14 years as a
Yogateacher I studied many different Yoga-Styles, did
Yogatrekking-Tours in the Mountains
for foreigners during some years and aslo I got the chance to travel to
I myself have two children and my little son was only a few days old when
the earthquake happened, I was so very afraid that
something happens to him. By Gods grace my own familymembers were all
safe. I do not have the words to explain what my country was going trough during that time and also now the situation is difficult. After the earthquake we asked for help from our friends and together
we could collect money and built 74 houses for the ones who lost their home in the earthquake. But still I have the deep wish in my heart to do more and
to help more people, still so much help is needed. Especially, we like to focus on children because they
are our hope and our future.
